I was born in Liverpool on October 16th 1981 and grew up round the corner in West Derby. I went through school being a bit of a naughty boy and would normally be found staring at the corridor walls after being thrown out of most of my lessons for being bad. It was in those corridors that I decided I wanted to work in radio.
After leaving school I started working at Radio City on the evening show. That experience taught me a lot, especially teaching me how to make the perfect cup of tea and how to photocopy with precision.
I also gave Uni a go too – but the student lifestyle and constant drinking did me in that much that I thought it best I stick to radio – what a mistake I made!
Anyways, after working voluntarily for a few years at Radio City, and also doing a show at student radio station Shout FM once a week, it was then that my boss very kindly gave me a new role: to work with Pete Price! (Thanks boss!)
I stuck it out with Pricey for over seven years and also did some presenting here and there too. And I present the overnight show here on City Talk 105.9.
