City Talk 105.9 favourite and Phoenix Nights star Neil kicks off his brand new weekend show.

Neil takes you back in time with Blast from the Past when we revisit the career of someone who has fallen out of the headlights.

He is joined every week by local historian Ken Pye who gives us a lesson in Liverpool life. In ‘Granty’s Scouse Pie’ we celebrate the Scouse language with journalist Peter Grant and we also take a look through the weekend’s front pages.

With celebrity interviews, showbiz news live from Heat magazine and quirky news stories from across the globe this is the perfect way to start your weekend.

Between 7am and 10am on Saturdays Fitz presents his unique mix of comedy, news, sport and showbiz.

Watch Neil's new film

City Talk's Neil Fitzmaurice has been hard at work on another film - Charlie Noades R.I.P. - and we've got a clip of it here. Take a look.

David Price hits Neil with the Hayemaker!

Ahead of Hayemaker6, a major boxing event at the Echo Arena on Saturday 28th March, Neil was joined in the studio by David Price and his trainers - prior to his first professional fight at the event; and on the line from his training camp in Cyprus another Liverpool boxer, Tony Dobson, who is also on the card that night.

Spoon face!

Neil has a crack at breaking one of the stupidest world records we've heard of in a while.

Lenny Henry and the Northern Othello

Neil Fitzmaurice asked Lenny Henry to join him on his show to talk about deep voices and new experiences as the comedian starts his run of playing Othello.

Paul Clark

The barrister and former Lord Mayor of Liverpool talks with Neil Fitzmaurice about what it meant to be so involved with the Culture celebrations and how he got elected in the Walton County Ward
