Simon may have caused a bit of a stink over at Radio Merseyside, but we're really not sure what the fuss was all about.

If you get behind the two four-letter words he used you'll find that at his heart, he's a Liverpudlian with an opinion; and there's nothing wrong with that.

So every Saturday Simon is hosting our breakfast show, providing the best accompaniment we can think of to a cup of tea and some toast.

If you don't know Simon, he's an Everton fan who is concerned about the environment and loves to get in the great outdoors. Whether he's snowboarding, cycling or even horse riding as long as he's outside he's a happy man.

But most importantly he loves Liverpool and its people, and he isn't afraid to let you know his opinion of what's happening in the city.

And to be honest, we wouldn't have him any other way.
