Duncan Barkes crossed the border into Wales to spread the word of his Back Your Local Boozer campaign.

Dunc visited the Blue Bell Inn in Halkyn, Flintshire, and spent some time learning Welsh as well as buying everyone a drink.
He met landlord Steve Marquis (right) behind the bar who explained how the pub has had over 500 real ales available and is at the heart of the local community.
The pub hosts regular events such as Conversational Welsh classes, music and entertainment for locals and regulars who have
been visiting the Blue Bell for decades.
