When Peter Mc met Chris Eubank

Chris Eubank was visiting Liverpool, so our Peter McDowall took the time out to sit down for a conversation with one of the country's most reknowned sports celebrities.
Visiting Hoylake's Kingsmead School as a guest of honour for a poetry recital the World Champion boxer - who takes pride in his diction and love of poetry - sat down with Peter to talk over what he's hoping to talk to the children about and how he is wary of underestimating the children he'll be talking to.
Getting down to boxing talk, Eubank explained the greatest lesson a young person can gain is one that is fundamental to boxing - and that's the focus of objectivity. Being able to take a punch and not get angry at your opponent and instead keep focus on your goal - to move on and score points for yourself is as important a life lesson as there is.
You can listen again to the full interview of when City Sport's Peter McDowall met Chris Eubank here.

After the School poetry session, Beech Jones De Lloyd Solicitors are hosting an exclusive Evening With Chris Eubank where guests have the opportunity to put their own questions to the boxing legend.
