Who would you make an honorary Scouser?

Paul Jacobs wanted to celebrate Liverpool’s rich, diverse populace, and ask this city who would you make an honorary scouser?
Lord Mayor Steve Rotherham started a scheme to award people who have done their bit for Merseyside, even though they’re not actually from the area – and name them honorary scousers.
So Jakes invited the mayor onto the show to ask him why he started the campaign and who were on the first list to be given the title.
And with the idea for the honorary scouser title being so well received around Liverpool the Lord mayor explained how the idea has grown into a large celebration in an official civic event at the Town Hall, with potentially 50 awards being issued in the first event.
Names such as Bill Shankly, Phil Easton, Jan Molby, Bishop Shepherd, Barbara Dixon, Graeme Sharp, Archbishop Warlock, Bessie Braddock, Kenny Dalglish, Margaret Simey, and John Peel are all ready being mentioned as potential recipients for the first 50 awards to be issued later this year.
